San Diego Chinese Women's Association
Association profile
The San Diego Chinese Women's Association was originally founded in 1981 as the San Diego Chinese Women's Club, a non-profit organization. At that time 10 women brainstormed the idea of putting together an organization to help what is now the San Diego Chinese Center. Thirty women showed up for their first meeting, which was a tea at one of the original founder's home. Now known under its new name we are a tax-exempt corporation as of June 26, 1990.
